SBI home banking service: check available services, eligibility, how to apply

To encourage State Bank of India customers, the country’s largest public lender is offering home banking service for some customers. The service was launched during the Covid-19 pandemic for senior customers, people with disabilities, people with certified chronic diseases and visually impaired.

People over the age of 70 and people with disabilities or disabilities (having a chronic illness or a medically certified disability), including the visually impaired, are eligible for the program. Fully KYC compliant account holders, single account holders and joint account holders with or survivor/former or survivor are also eligible.

Customers who have a direct debit within a radius of 5 km from the Home Agency, according to the lender. On Monday, SBI tweeted about the program saying, “SBI at your doorstep!!! For customers with different abilities, SBI is here to help with free “home banking” 3 times a month.

How to profit SBI Home Banking (DSB) Services using Yono

-Go to the Service Request menu

-Select home banking service

-Place a request for check pickup, cash pickup and other requests.

How to register for the service

State Bank of India customers should register on the toll free numbers 1800 1037 188 or 1800 1213 721 for SBI home banking services.

Home banking services available

The following home banking services are available at selected branches from 05.01.2018:

Cash withdrawal.

Cash delivery.

Check withdrawal

Retrieval of the check request slip.

Pickup form 3 p.m.

Delivery of drafts.

Issuance of a Term Deposit NoticeIssuance of a Term Deposit Notice.

Recovery of life certificate.

Collection of KYC documents.

Key Features of SBI Home Banking

-Registration made at the Reception Branch.

-Requests for home banking should be made only at the main branch.

-The amount of cash withdrawal and cash deposit is limited to Rs 20,000/-per transaction per day.

-The service charge per visit for non-financial transactions is Rs 60/+TPS and Rs 100+TPS for financial transactions.

-Withdrawal will be authorized using a check / withdrawal form with Passbook.

-Delivery will be made as far as possible but no later than the working day T+1 (excluding public holidays).
